Just need to find out how much other wc's charge for these and what methods you use to clean them and how long it takes you.
Cheers

Depending on how green they are somewhere between £50 & £125 and I use wfp with a bit of trf sprayed on first if its really bad
-
£5 per panel.
-
I work on a £35 p/hr to clean it. Then size matters
-
The ones I currently do are anything between £25 and £40 normally. However, I do have a couple of places that have very simple roofs (4 or 5 sheets all in the same direction) and they want them done every 6 weeks with the rest of the windows. For these I can't really justify any more than a tenner as they are 10 or 15 minute jobs at most.

I bought one of those Car wash poles from local garage. ::)
I use it for this purpose (and the car now and again)
Use washing-up liquid mix thicker than normal ( so quite soapy)
rinse wash rinse, simple!
When finished I clean the whole conservatory (Rinse roof with PURE water) wash conservatory with pole system as normal! :)
The last one I did took 4 hours I charged £115
The owner was prepared to pay more (I saw the wad of cash he just withdrew from his bank that morning to pay for the job! :o )
So I think a minimum of £25 per hour in future...
Tell customer in advance Hourly Rate save embarrassment later! ;)

i used tfr before but now just use pure water as i find it quicker and also does a great job regards alan

never go below £70 for your basic con roof, you dont want to break anything by rushing. i.e tripping up hoses, or falling of a step ladder etc etc etc.
and i think you should be earning at least £40-60ph for the roofs, who else is going to do it?
very very rarely they will phone up another window cleaner to clean the con roof if you already do the house.
-
I charge dirt cheap money. An average sized con roof costs around £10 because of the way I do them.
I scrub 'em down with a non-abrasive brush then borrow the owners garden hose to rinse it off....all in all takes about 20 mins (less if they haven't got a hose for me to rinse off with).
Probably dries appallingly but I don't seem to get complaints...anyway what did they expect for a tenner...tfr and wfp? ;D

£35 per hour, so most roofs about £35 :D

For months I thought the finial was the whole top fancy curvy bits, but thats the crest, the finial is the single pointy thin...
From APC Roofing...
CRESTING & FINIALS
Crestings and Finials are the decorative architectural devices seen on the roof of a conservatory. The finial is the pointed feature at the front of the apex and the cresting is the piece running along the ridge of the roof. These features usually sit on the roof capping.
Anyway about £40 ;)

Well to my amazement today, i found out that a company who have just set-up a couple of months ago are prepared to clean a con roof if you a regular customer for the grand total of £5 :o using there pure water and nothing else. all i can say to them is good luck, i might even see if they fancy sub contracting mine from me at the price.
I normally charge between £25-£45

I charge about 30 to 40 per hour & then add a bit more ;) all in my head of course. I use tfr + wfp. I charge well for conn' roofs for a few reasons.
1. I don't need the work.
2. I don't want to rush the job using step ladders etc.
3. I generaly get the ones i quote for anyway once i've given them a bit of flannel about treating it with a specialist algae/film remover (tfr to you & me ;)) etc. Plus how it will look like new too of course.

i was a £10 to 15 clean .untill i joined this forum .

between £35 and £65..... i only gently clean the finnel thing as its too faffy and they break!!!
i am also wary about con roofs as i had one leak badly on me.... and although i cover myself nowadays... i still presume every single one will leak... so i hate doing them. ::) ;D

Good point, some will leak & some won't. I always warn the custy of this, to remove or cover anything that may get wet from drips & to make sure they're in while doing the job.

good idea! some leak and some dont. at least if you say what can happen, its up to them and most people understand. I like to warn them too personally.
