if you are going for look these are the best IMO,

I have had one at my house and got a free window clean (result)
They are very well made, customer services is very good (not that I have one)
I think the owners name is Julie.

The system is one of the best I have seen about apart from mine of course from pure freedom.

My view on this would be 8/10 for the system 6/10 for the high price tag
looks 10/10.

I saw it at windex.

Looks nice, but hot water with gas does not appeal to me. (diesel burner would be better)

AND, about the same price as ionics but not as good.  IE no crash-testing, no reach and wash brand, no local back-up etc etc.

Looks like their trying to be like ionics but on the cheap.  I cant see any reason why someone would buy theirs instead of ionics.  For the same money you can have crashtested and all that jazz

LPG is much better than deisel, more reliable and more temperature acurate.

I dont think you could really say that being more temperature accurate makes it better IMO.  If you run out you have to go and find somewhere that does gas bottles and fanny around changing them.  With diesel all you need is a petrol station.

Also, its hard to know how much gas is left in a bottle, not so with diesel in the vehicle tank.

Also I didnt like the "chimney" in the top of the van on the concept system, looked really naff.

Hi Tennant, you can set LPG digitally to what temperature you require to work with, with deisel you will get the maximum temp all the time making it unusable in really cold weather. The only thing you could do would be pre heat the water in the tank with the deisel heater,If you turned the deisel heater on and started working on a really cold morning you would crack glass, with the LPG you can turn it down to a workable heat.

I had a demonstration of the concept 20 hot system. Could not find fault with it for the time they were here. (Hence my question.)

Julie Phillips is very nice they don’t just try and sell you a system, I got the impression they would like to offer lots of support concerning your own business.

Never had a demo from Ionics but it would have to be exceptional to be better than concept 20.

Ewan  :)

I have bought from both suppliers, and found that Julies knowledge was very good on all subjects asked. The system i have is cold, but can always be upgraded to LPG hot when / if required.
The hand over from Concept was a full day- very thorough. The hand over from ionics was about 1/2 hr not so thorough!!
Running costs are obviously less on the Concept, as we all know about resin costs from Ironics.
Cant comment on the hot because i didnt even ask for a demo - out of my league price wise.
The demos from Concept lasted about 4hrs, at their premises, Ionics came to me and did a demo on a bungalow, very usefull!!!!!!! say no more. I bought the Ionics, as at the time there were not as many suppliers as now.
The service from Concept is i find more helpful, and its not all about making a sale, Julie and Carl are very knowledgeable and can offer some helpful advice in progressing your business. All the parts used are top quality, and even the reels included are Klaber, not cheap plastic ones.

no reach and wash brand, no local back-up etc etc.

Looks like their trying to be like ionics but on the cheap.  I cant see any reason why someone would buy theirs instead of ionics (quote from Tennet)

I have found just because of the reach and wash brand does not bring in extra premium work, local back up??? depends where you live doesnt it? and as for trying to be like ionics but on the cheap, check the prices. Concept are not cheap, personally i think Ionics are not aswell made, and i think i can comment after owning both, my ionics is 3-4 yrs old now, my concept is 6mths old, chuffed with it.

Ionics really need to step up their after sales service, and start looking at using quality parts on the system, the attitude i had on the phone when enquiring about a second system was very poor, no offer of proper demos, no offer of a decent deal as it would have been a 2nd system, no follow up calls from them. The impression i got was that they didnt really want to do a deal. Whereas you will not find anybody more enthusiastic than Concept about their system, with confidence in the build, and a positive attitude about window cleaning like you would not believe, i left their premises very positive!

I thought Concept 20 was part of/run by Ionics.

I think you are thinking of Pure 2o or something along those lines. Concept is nowt to do with Ionic systems.

When I first looked into wfp I had an ionics demo. Bearing in mind it was the first system we saw and that we were after a cold water system. (I told them this) I was most surprised when Reuben brought a top of the themopure trailer to demonstrate. This actually put me off ionics a bit as I didn't know what the difference in cleaning ability was and it I remember thinking at the time that when I had told him I was looking at a starter system why had he brought the (at the time) top of the range system. As a result I also wondered if they were out to sell me equipment I didn't actually need and as a result shopped around and after looking at other suppliers (who could show me what I was after) I actually decided against using Ionics. If they had actually shown me the equipment I had asked for then I might of taken a different route.
