would the following run an omnivac?

THIS IS A CL6500 GENERATOR

POWERED BY A 13.0HP  EASY PULL START PETROL ENGINE WITH OIL ALERT

LARGE 6.5 GALLON FUEL TANK

OUTPUT 50HZ

RATED OUTPUT 5000 WATTS OR 6.25KVA

WILL RUN FOR 12 HOURS ON A TANK OF FUEL AT 50% LOAD

FITTED WITH LOW OIL ALERT

2X110V SOCKETS /1X 240VSOCKET /

THIS COMES DELIVERED TO YOU NEW AND BOXED AND REQUIRES OIL BEFORE STARTING

the above is featured on ebay and is priced at under £300

I have two generators one 12kva - for our chewing gum removal machines and a 6.5kva one - from new - about 6 years ago it was £1000.00.

So that sounds like a bargain

DOUBLE check with them that it is a 5kva and NOT a twin 2.5kva output. I had a look at one in Makro at that sort of price as it said 5kva on it but when you looked at the figures properly it stated "twin 2.5kva outlets"..... So total output is 5kva but not usable for one appliance....
