nightmare!!

why would anyone use copper cleaner on that?

you need to take the copper cleaner off first - if you can find out whats in copper cleaner you can find what it is solvent in, then take it from there.

I haven't done metal ceilings but I have done painted tongu and groove.
I did it with a back flip and pole.
1] used the applicator with some power washer detergent.
2[ Bladed along the lengh to get off the surplus water
3] wrapped some old towel round an applicator and dried it off
4] wrapped clean scrim round a dry applicator to polish it off.

It was really gleaming when I finished, just like it was newly painted.

hope this helps Dai
