Post by: shaun lord on May 08, 2008, 05:57:43 pm
Hi to you all,
what a cracking forum this is, obviously you are allowed to voice your opinions which are in most cases left to run and deliver in my opinion, interesting an honest results.

Good day to you all.

Shaun.

Yes its good tonight.  Lots of good guys on.

Sometimes you get a spell of numptys on which forces you to go to cleantalk which BTW is dead these days.

You could join the elite board truckmounters.com but then you do have to be in the club to be accepted.

Mark,
That's not strictly true any more. Truck Mounters will welcome with open arms anyone who is either genuinely interested in Truck Mount issues or aspires to own one at some point in the future. The only reason it was closed to none Truck Mount operators in the past was the virtual state of war that existed between the two factions, which thankfully no longer exists as evidenced by our most recent topic Why Not a Truck Mount, which at one time would have ended up with blood on the carpet.
So if your interested in Truck Mounts, join up, truckmounters
ooops, can you say that on here? Bugger!! I'm banned.

I'm afraid he is.
He's the gatekeeper and insists on photos as we have for every member, but it's worth it.

John,
I read  here above on Clean it up that you refer to me as a "weird bloke". How can you possibly attack me like this when I took you out with me on a days carpet cleaning, showing you the ropes and then allowing you to join My forum. A forum on which all members show I.D pics ?, this you was aware of when you read our registration form and consequently agreed to .
If you don’t want to be a member of Truckmounters fine, but please don’t attack me publicly.

Hi Glynn

Although I cannot now find John Gregorys post I did see it and got to admit I saw it in a different light then you are.
I read it as John remarking that here is this Glynn, a man, wanting a photo of him (John), a man ..... what a "weird bloke" !!
Maybe I read him wrong but if I disagreeumption is correct can you see that perhaps he was making a flipant comment reflecting an attitude in society today.
I did'nt see it as a personal attack.
If it was a personal attack then I am with you and we should'nt use an open forum as a media to do this, but knowing John (just a little) I didnt see it that way.

I spoke to John today, he made his remark in simple good humour, which I believe Glynn now accepts.
