Title: I am new
Post by: kevinwalker on May 05, 2008, 03:11:31 pm
Hi everyone, first of all what a great site this is very helpful and some great ideas, well i have started my own round about 6 months ago, using the traditional method, been canvassing and my round is slowly growing, Just wondered if there are any window cleaners in south wales who have any work they dont want.
Thanks
Kevin

Hi Kevin - welcome to Cleanitup.

There's a few on here from wales - most notably the 'chepstow three' - tosh, squeeky and ian

Just watch out for tosh though - wears a dress sometimes.

Welcome Kevin, I hope that you find CIU both entertaining and helpful. If you have a questions ever just ask and I am sure you will get a response. With regards to your request for work in South Wales I suggest you post a thread with the title "window cleaning work wanted south Wales area" You can post it here or in the buying and selling section but if you put a post with that as the title the people who may have work will see it an respond accordingly. I would also list which parts of south wales that you wish to find work in. Hope this is helpful and welcome once again!
Pete  ;)

Is that what he wears canvassing? Does it work dressing as a panto dame when door knocking I mean it would be a great ice breaker. The door knocks and you answer the door to Widow Twanky (I always wondered what she/he did out of panto season). However I do feel it would be wrong if he turned up looking like Lilly Savage!

leeksons are south wales as well - I'm sure someone could help you out.

Best thing to do though is canvass, get out there and knock some doors - today would be a really good day to go.

wce - not sure if he canvasses in it but I know some clients pay extra 'for the service'
