Just got back from a 1st clean on a house that i got call from after putting out leaflets last week, town house, charged double for 1st clean, was bricking it as its the 3rd town house i got and as im a newbie wanted to do a good job, i finished collected money and started packing away.
neighbour comes out and says its been really hard finding a decent window cleaner round here,i said i did put card through your door, she said she had checked out my work and was impressed, asked me if id do hers too, agreed price, 4 weekly then got back to work and did 1st clean on hers, feeling really good now and just want more more more,

great stuff mate i reckon each time you go back you will start to pick more up once they start talking .

Grats m8.  Word of mouth and customers that first see your work are the ones that tend to stay with you, as THEY made the decision to get you.

I got 6 today on the same street with this scenario.  Doing first clean on one, next door neighbor get me to do hers, then the two houses opposite come out to admire my work and get booked in for 4 weeks time, then as im packingaway, two old dears from further up the street come down and ask me to do theirs.  Great day.

Yeah, its that time of year. I noticed the suntan boys are starting to creep out of the wood work also.  ;D

How much did you charge and how much will you be charging.

I have just picked some up and end terracve has 21 windows so charged him £30 then 25 a month

3 storey town house, front had room in roof set back little, 2nd floor had landing window and another next to it, then ground had kitchen window, front door with big glass pane then little toilet window, Back had another same in roof as front, 1st floor had double doors with them annoying bars infront then ground had patio doors and a bedroom,i charged £25 1st clean then £15 on 4 weekly basis.
