I have a Dispatch 1.9
Has a 400 ltr tank and wouldn't want much bigger only 815kg Payload. Great for access, two side doors etc and easy enough to park and maneuver in small cul-de-sacs etc. Insurance around £300, around 30 mpg. Good all round van

Been looking at the new ones they have a 1200kg payload version, could easily handle bigger tank. Having said that I've never run empty with 400 ltrs but my days are getting busier. (So watch this space may be selling mine ;))

A lot depends on the weight you want to carry.

Post by: Dean Aspects on May 02, 2008, 06:51:48 am
Fiat Scudo 400ltr tank nice size van but a little underpowered as its non turbo version and you really do need it
Next van will be something larger Transit/Vivaro/Transporter

not trying to put the spooks up you, but I have a relay (same engine) it ceased at 40k (DO NOT EVER USE EASY START)
if it is slow to start stay well away, if they say it is a slow starter motor they are telling a lie from what I found out.

My bill so far to fix my van is near on £1500 and could be more by the time other engine is fitted, not counting the £000's it has cost me with lost work time.

isn't the new expert totally different to the old one (dunno about engine)

this obviously is irrelevant if talking about a new-ish expert
