Title: Carpet / upholstery cleaners needed!!!

My name is Gary Kendall (username - gazz28) and I have been a member of this forum for 2 and a half years now. I have recently set up a property maintenance company providing a wide range of "day-to-day" property maintenance services to management companies and letting agents within North London and the Home Counties.

I currently need WFP window cleaners, domestic and commercial cleaners, carpet and upholstery cleaners, oven cleaners, locksmiths and gardeners to go on our list of trusted companies for subcontract work. The work will be based mainly on residential blocks, but will include some office and factory work.

Please be aware that proof of public liability insurance and references will be needed.

Dont think he is Geoff.
To be a member of NCCA you have to show you not only have insurance but also have treatment risk on your policy.

I am perhaps wrong joe, to suggest this but i sometimes get the feeling that ncca members feel they are the only ones complying with insurance .
ok I know to be a member you have to have these, but I guess 99% of non members on here have adequate insurance. Fools if they dont,

He may not have meant anything but the fact that being a member of the NCCA is a guarantee of that sort of cover.

Perhaps we should let Steve answer first. He may of wanted to add the NCCA part for credibity and whilst we all know that does'nt guarantee quality of work it is why most people join up.

I would have said similar regarding insurance cover .......... like i would state that 3 years working at parliament counts as very good references ;D

Not working at Parliament will not mean you are not as good as me either :P

Plus with all that booze on offer in the chambers they are constantly wearing their carpet goggles so Chris's shoddy work looks looks like brand new baize on a snooker table ;D

Looked into IICRC but feedback from my customer base was that it was not recognised as much as NCCA. Plus it is a US based accreditation not a UK association :P

Would have done it myself if was more widely known ......... same reason i never joined the LMCCA, even less known :o

ps...... Pete , not religious so no such thing as a god as far as i am concerned ......... but if there was, we would be very similar :-X
