Title: Big Increase
Post by: stevegunn on April 29, 2008, 05:02:43 pm
In the amount of existing customers wanting my spot remover rather than having their carpets cleaned.Anyone else finding this if they give out free spotter?

Selling it at £9.99 a bottle so not bad one customer has just had 3 off me,in total this week sold 9 bottles to regular customers

If you make it yourself how long will it last (for example Nemesis) i believe the ones you buy are Stabalised or something so they keep good in the bottle?

Steve,

Is there a set up charge to add company logo to the bottles and do you have to buy a certain amount.

Regards Tony

Restormate do the logo set up for free and minimum order is 50 bottles. Just got 100 and they are really good quality! Ill be whacking them out at a tenner a bottle but with free lifetime refills as long as they get me back for work.

Instead of selling at a 'shampoo' sell it as a spotter.

Ive had this problem.  Its more of a pain to drive to deliver the bottle regardless of what you charge.

Ive thought of using smaller bottles so its only a spot remover for a few spots and not something they use instead of me.

Mark has hit the nail on the head customer in Rowlands Gill wanted 2 but wanted them straight away when I explained I wouldn't be up there till next week she got a little angry,I suggested I send them by post which would be extra still not happy. Now its an hour round trip for £20 I don't think so

Dave,
I looked into bottling my own magic mix years ago. by the time I bought the bottles got labels printed that did'nt run the moment they got wet fannyed about filling then sticking on the said labels, it worked out cheaper to buy them ready filled.
take a tip from an old timer "don't bother" :-\

Listen to Dave, he for the last 100 years or so has been using a catheter and has alsorts of fluid spilling around his fingers.

Buying made up bottles with stick labels all done for you has never been so cheap, I bought 500 spray bottles about 10-12 years ago and then they cost me £500 plus vat never again.

A Yorkshire man spend £500 in one go.

Now that I have got to see :o

Saying that Shaun, the last time I saw you part with a large sum of money you looked like a victim of a mugging.
White as a sheet and trembling :'(

If you want to go down the road of doing your own - try ebay for a search. I know someone did that and found a supply.

I say to the customer that every time she wants work doing I shall top up her spotter bottle for free. I wouldnt even consider going around delivering them to customers who run out - way too much hassle for £9.99 per bottle!

Sold my first one today and she seemed very happy with it! Get mine as I said from www.restormate.co.uk Just sell them for a tenner and make over £800 per 100 units sold! Money for old rope!
