I'm looking at changing my 2 100 meter 1/2 inch hoses over to mini or micro bore. However how do they fare up to being driven over? I've not had a problem with the stuff I'm using at the moment, but these other hoses being thinner, will they be up to a lorry going over the top.
Simon.

We have had plenty of lorries, van and buses going over the hose and still work fine ;)

Generally speaking cars can drive over them with no loss of flow even. You do notice it if a lorry drives over, but they are more than strong enough to cope with the strain.
I have used microbore for 6 years now and have never had a lorry damage it.

Simon,
We use both Mini & Microbore hoses and im sure you will find they are much tougher and less crushable then 1/2" hose, anything less than a steamroller will have little effect on them.

No problems at all, I work on many new build estates with lorries loaded with material. Not even a drop in the flow rate

Thanks Guys. :D

22 ton bin wagon and microbore still ok, just be careful that its not running over stony ground as it may puncture it.
