Brick acid is available at most builders merchants. Wear eye protection when using it.
-
thanks for that
will it get the staining out of block paving also there is an oil patch will it work on oil
-
No you need degreaser on oil, when you use acid you need to wet the area first then wash off when the fizzing stops and repeat if needed
-
had alook at this job to day 60sq and the hole lot is covered in cemet it is all gray will brick acid lift this off the block paving if so how much to cover 60 sq
-
now spoke to custy and what he has done
he has brushed in a sand and cemet mix to stop the weeds coming though
so will brick acid lift this off with a turbo lanc
-
wet it all then cover in acid and allow to dwell then try the turbo and repeat as required but you must remember the blocks are concrete also so you will remove the fines from the surface to show the larger stones below, there will be a compromise but it sounds like the customer will live with that but you must qualify them in writing before you start. use a watering can with a rose and a plastic broom to apply
