Title: 1st day water fed pole
Post by: bigw66 on April 28, 2008, 07:23:21 pm
1st day today hard work on arms and shoulders but i am sure this will get better with time but pleased i took the plunge.
Just a quick question on my water production i have a 200gpd ro which came with my freedom trolley my home tds is 386 ro and resin bring it down to 000-001 water pressure 45psi, but only producing 25ltrs per 3hrs would a 100gpd upgrade kit or a booster pump make my water production any quicker?

Thank you for any advice

you need a booster pump mate that will speed up production 25 ltrs over 3 hours is really slow , with a booster pump you should get around 25 ltrs per 40 minutes , a upgrade to 300 ltr wouldnt hurt either but go for the pump first . your arms and shoulders will get better good luck .

Paul keep at it regardless of the comments you`ll get from customers they will get used to it and this time next year if you show them a squeeggee they`ll have forgotton what it is,you just have to proove to them that it works and once you`ve done that you should have a hassle free working week, onwards and upwards.

This is a bit of a iffy subject frames,i do the frames on the first visit properly and then flash over them from then on.If you do them properly the first time you`ll be surprised how clean they`ll stay just don`t neglect them completley,i DON`T do frames everytime there`s no need to.Use a good flowrate on all your work it`s quicker and does an overall better job.

i suppose time will tell, how long is it taking you to go through a barrol and what flow rate are you setting it too?

I have it on number3 on the flowmaster dont know how long 1 barrel lasts but i used 7 and a half barrels today 9.30 - 4.15 minus an hour or so dinner time to refill barrels.

i find it quite worrying how much water you use, i would never have enough water to get around all the work that i have in a day ( dont think i would any how) ill see when i try, do you have an oval brush or square?

Can you see how easy it is with a vanmount, more often than not you don`t need to worry about water.

You use more water when you start WFP because your worried about doing a good job your taking your time, soon you will know when there clean from the ground and you will half the time at least on each window.
