Post by: Highrise on April 26, 2008, 11:52:46 am
Just gone to the petrol station and it looks like people are starting to get worried about the fuel strike.....

So I filled the tank up on the van which cost me £100  :o :'(

I didn't fill up but I put in more than usual. They are starting to queue round here now which is pathetic.

Well I must admit that I'm keeping my van reasonably topped up if it doesn't involve queueing.  Although they say it's mainly a potential problem for Scotland and the North, I suppose that some supplies could be diverted from the South to help out.  I usually fill to the brim anyway.  All I am doing differently to normal is not letting it run down nearly as far as I usually do.

Yes, i usually run right down to nothing before I fill up but I am going to have to be careful now.
