Post by: woodman on January 06, 2005, 05:31:01 pm
Hi Guys

It gives me great pleasure to announce that the venue for the Carpet Cleaners Day Out 2005 will be:

                                  The National Hockey Stadium

Date for your diary is Thursday the 31st March the week after easter time will be 9.30-10am start, 3-30pm-4pm finish.

There will be a small charge of £10 a head as I am afraid they would not give it to me for free :'(

There is plenty of safe parking around the ground and if you are coming by train the station is right next door ;)

08/03/05

Attending above will be:

Martin Reilly giving a talk and Q & A on how Fast Track improved his business

Nick Solution demonstrating the eclipse and if its ready the new Hot Shot Spotter & Charly Pad System along with correct use of MS

Steve Carpenter with the new CFR 500 and CFR Spotter

Texatherm with new equipment and demonstration clean

Prochem with new series Truck Mount

Hydramaster with Truck Mount

Car Boot Sale

Hopefully (new to this country) brand new stain remover

Something for every one I hope ;)

Hi

I'll be there.

The last time there was a meeting one of the comments was about not knowing who people were. Any thoughts on badges at all? (we'd be happy to sponsor the badges  ;) )

Regards

Mike

I might get a nosebleed ;)

All of the above duly noted.

Just a quick update, if you are thinking of adding a CFR to your kit Steve Carpenter will be bringing the two new CFR machines along for us all to have a look at and will answer any questions on the CFR system.

Just to let you know.

Fast Track and the JP method of marketing has created a lot interest.

As a result  fellow carpet cleaner and Fast Track success story Martin Riley has kindly agreed to attend to give a talk and have a Q&A session on the day.

This will be very interesting for us all and especially any one who is thinking about the Fast Track programme it will be a must, regardless of how long you have been in the business.

I would like to thank Martin for agreeing to help.

Anyone bringing a Recoil 3 along? (John?)
It would be interesting to set up a comparison with the Eclipse, over different hose lengths of course  ;D
Well we are at it how about getting a Bane TM along and a couple of petrol TMs. It would be great to be able to use all of the equipment on the day.

Count me in,
Chris

Post by: Dynafoam on January 13, 2005, 07:02:24 pm
Chris,

I'll have a Recoil on board but any comparison needs to be made in the light of one being VO and the other AO.

The Eclipse has only about a third of the airflow but several times the water lift.

Like Len I also sent  a pm, just wondering also if you got it.

Len

I am planning a holiday for approx 10 days end of jan early Feb.
If you want to borrow the envirodry why not do it then as you could have it for a couple of weeks to give it a really good try out without me missing it.

Any truckmounts coming for us to demo/use as well?

Any spaces left for possibly 3?

WOW !

Two and a half months to go and the head-count has already exceeded the original 40 :o

Trevor,

It seems that your intimate little get-together is set to rival some national exhibitions. I hope that the appreciation for your efforts matches the interest in attendance.

Hi Karen

No, of course this day is open to all and is especially beneficial to new starts as you get to meet old pros like John Bolton ;D (only kidding John)

As you can see the day is full at the moment but I am operating a waiting list and as people drop off for one reason or another I slot someone else in.

If you want to go the reserve list let me know and I will add you.

**UPDATE**

I am at present trying out at new stain removal product for specific problem areas and so far the results have been amazing :o

I know that all of you will want this product in your kit should all the testing prove to be positive.

If all goes well I will be able to show this at the meeting and carry out a demonstration, the manufacturers are keen to put it before you all, so we may able to negotiate on price, as it is not a cheap product.

I will keep you updated on the outcome.

I am new to this site and like others I am finding tons of really useful information.
I am preparing to start an office cleaning company. At the moment I'm doing all the research as well as joining organisations and going on courses to ensure I am well prepared. I used to run a PR company in the 80's and  90's which I closed due to divorce.
I now feel ready to start again and have been keen to start an office cleaning company for a long time. I hope to be ready in about six months time.
If a place does come available for the Milton Keynes day I would love to be included. I have so much to learn.
Thanks again for being such a well run and informative site.

Len i think you missed my point .Ido not buy anything that i dont try first Ialso live in salisbury and they complain if you fart here so noise is a very importent thing Whats the heat like ,is the pressure ok or great  You are about to pay out 15ooo pounds for a machine and you get it home and its a load of poo and the wife says did you hear it running and have a go with it  and you say no but it does look very pretty. i hope you get my point now des

Des

Strong believer try before you buy!

I don’t think I have missed your point; the noise is the factor with this type of equipment nothing else, but can also be equalled to some porty’s and yes arrogantly of me not a lot of difference to a road drill working but less time, believe there is a cut off time for noise?

Nether for or against a TM it’s a tool at the end of the day a good one at that!
