A lot of people with WFP say that they wished that they did it years ago, some not,,,, others ( like me ) wished that they had did things differently..
So if you could go back in time ;D would you have done things differently ;D
-
Yeah,
I would have become a WC when I first left school :D Iv never been so stressless :D
Oh, and WFP from the start wopuld have been much easier...(did my first 3 months trad)

I would go back in time and stop me from starting this post ;D
-
I'd have left home an hour ago! ;D
-
Yes i would have still bought a WFP as it is a good tool but would have stayed mainly traditional and used WFP just for the hard to reach windows.
Paul

i would have listerned to Jeff B and used a fishing pole about 18 months before i did ::) ::)
other than that, i would change much, its been ok and if it continues to go like it is, then i cannot complain

Yes. I would have invested in WFP when I very first heard of it in the mid to late 90s. I had more borrowing ability then and would have bought a van and system brand new and targetted all the reachable commercial properties within a 15 mile radius.

I would change absolutely nothing...I am a very happy bunny...sometimes to get where you are you have to travel unusual paths...
Dave.
ps..ain't the world a better place when the sun is shining....

I would have invested in carbon poles & better brushes from the outset instead of struggling with 40ft excel fibre glass "banana" poles & 16" oval, lead brushes!
Invest in your tools & save your body & sanity. ;)

I wish I had started window cleaning when I first thought about it rather than waiting so long to give up the 9-5 job

I dont regret going WFP at all... but.... if I'd have known what a slog the 1st month of cleans would be, I would have spent more time my last month trad cleaning the frames in preparation for WFP...
....apart from that, I should have started this when I left school.... would be a millionaire by now ;D ;D ;D

if i could go back in time i wouldn't be a wc, i would of put together an auction site called ebay ;D by now i would of sold it an be sunning myself in my expensive villa surrounded by pots of dosh and page 3 girls ;D...a bit like the playboy mansion!! screw WFP thats what i'd do ;D ;D
-
I'd have started breeding earlier then my 9 year old would now be 19 and doing the hard graft. The 7 year old would be 17 and able to do some book work in between polishing her nails or whatever it is 17 year old girls do (no don't answer that please ;)) and the little one would be 12 or 13 doing some robbing when the custies weren't looking ( or knowing her, even when they were). And me? I'd be controlling ops from my office at the bar. We can all dream I suppose :)
-
Well I started WC'ing when I left school so no regrets there, Luke
-
Luke, if you turned back time you would be in your nappies!
Do you see your mates who are still in education trying to get their A levels with no money? Bet you have a laugh at them. Bet they laugh at you too not knowing too much about your job. ;)
-
Obviously I dont know for sure but I reckon I am the the highest or one of the highest earning persons of my age in this area, and of course they laugh, I wash windows with a water shooting pole and brush and of course I laugh ( in my head ) knowing I am already earning what they might be very very lucky of getting in 3-5 years, Luke
-
Makes you wonder doesn't it? My Mrs is surrounded by well educated boffins in Tescos who can't get their i.t. jobs and so end up on six quid an hour stacking beans, after all those years in uni. struggling to repay their loans.
-
bought a VAN MOUNT!! ;D ;D
-
ive been thinking on this
i would have brought the french farm i was going to buy and now have a holiday home in france with a few little gites
-
if I could turn back time I would have gone a different way home dec 19th 2006, and saved alot of hassle
