I just typed in some details, thinking that it was 10% of the price that you claim for, but they want £52, Court fee £25, and sollictors cost of another £27. While the total amount owed is £27.
??? ::)
I thought it was 10%?

Correct, its really not worth it unless what you claim for is over a certain ammount.

I think somewere you can send a solictor's letter all offical asking them to pay in 7days or we will take you to court etc. Think it was something around £2.00 for the letter the idea scares them so they pay.
search on google for debt collectors or something might come up

Already did that, they didn't pay up. Found the letter on here a long time ago actually. :)

Just do one more clean for them. Make sure you use the dirtiest, soapy water you can get.
It might not be you that gets paid but someone will have to do them. Bit of aggro flushing your pipes through but, oh the satisfaction.

No this letter is sent from a solictor so its an offical letter from a solictor on there headed paper so it looks like you have already took proceedings.

look up a company called thomas higgins, theyare the mutt's. I tend to use them to claw money back, £2:57 a letter and I've never had to go any further. If you decide to go to court they do that as well
-
are you saying these people owe you £27.

Yes, I know it's not much, but it's the principle behind it.

Thanks for the mention of Harris Solicitors, I will certainly be using them for a couple of outstanding debts I am owed (particularly where the customer was very rude...!). £2 per letter is great :-)

Remembr to put in the letter abount all the extra costs..... I had a bad payer and adjusted the letter on here to add "£75 legal costs will be added at 9:00am on Monday (dated 7 days ahead) when solicitors will be instructed to take court action." I hand delivered the letter that morning and had full payment by the afternoon.
