I've been looking at these myself as I'm thinking of chopping my pick up in.  They have a really good payload about 1200kg if I remember.  And a 2.5 td engine will be man enough for the job.

Why not look at doing a lease buy on a new one though.  Works out far better on tax and you have a new van.  I've seem them for £150 + vat per month.

Simon.

great vans, keep the interior light off though, they tend to stay on all the time. You can run a wfp system off the van no problem as they have a twin battery set-up, Hope your not that wide across the arse though, as the drivers seat has two metal bars, one down each side, and if your in it long enough your bum will go numb.
Just nit-picking realy, best van on the market, never break down, keep their price well, quality paintwork, fairly comfortable driving position, seat goes up, down, in and out as well as tilting both ways AND the steering column moves up and down

If you`ve got enough to spend i would still go for a Transporter.

Would love a transporter but only got around the 6K maybe could stretch to 7k but then I would have to shop at Lidl and not Tesco for a while. ;D

You won't get any change if you win on the Hiace.
