Hi,
I replaced the transformer on our 300gpd ro system that you sent us but when the tank is switched on now the relay switch just keeps turning itself on and off constantly can you give me an idea what could be going wrong. Could there be something wrong with the pump that is causing it.
Thanks
Paul

Is it a static or van mount system?
When you write "when the tank is switched on now " do you mean the electronic cut out switch?
If its a van mount system is it on level ground? if not movement of the water in the tank could cause the system to turn its self on and off.
Its much easier to diagnose and rectify the problem on the phone, give us a call on Monday

Hi Glyn,
Its a static system and yes it must be the cut off switch when i replaced the transformer this morning that switch just keeps clicking i will ring you first thing monday but i was hoping it was something i can do in between as i can not make any water at the mo thus not able to work. Could the pump be a problem it was making a bit of noise during the week but it does not leak. The tank is also empty at the moment.

Hi Paul
This is a long shot - but it happens infrequently:-
The electrical terminals could be the wrong way around, please check - disconnect the power supply first
Or
You could try taking the float part of the cut out switch off - (the end of the float switch that moves up and down )and turning it around, its usually secured with a circlip take care not to drop the circlip. The electrical polarity could have changed when you put the new transformer on.

Hi glyn
already tried swapping wires about this morning but got the same result, not 100% sure what you mean about the float switch. Will i be able to reach you first thing monday morning or a time i can get hold of you as i think it will be easier over the phone.
Many thanks for your help
