as the title suggests
1) who works out of cars ?
2) What cars are they ?
3) What size tank do you have ?
Ive got a skoda falicia 1.9d with a 175 litre tank
And was wondering if i could put a bigger tank in ??

when my van was off the road i used a nissan micra with a freedom trolly and 4 barrels of water ;D

I take it you felicia is the hatchback or is it the combi.
I would say the hatchback would take a 250 tank the combi would take a 400 flat tank but may find it will not fit in between the rear arches.
You wont get an upright tank in i tried it when i had a felicia
I did put my trolley in mine though when van went for a service but found it a pain getting it out.
I did take 13 barrels and a trolley out in it though apart from getting the trolley out it worked out fine

Before I got my van I used to work out of a fiesta with freedom trolley and 10 barrels the front wheels did'nt touch the road :)
-
pug 406 estate freedom trolly 10 barrels plus trad gear

its the estate
Thats the one i had also know as the combi it will take the weight of a 400ltr tank as it has better suspension than the hatchback but you won't get it in.
So a 250 tank should go in or a trolley and upto 13 barrels with the seats down

mercedes vito, 400ltr but i will change to 650 ltr soon

i used to work out of a passet estate
cart and 6 25 L barrels in the boot, some in the rear footwell if i was having a busy day
worked well enough, i now have a van, though still work the same way, so a van hasnt improved my working practise in anyway

used to use escort estate 1.6, though it was rubbish loading and unloading everything all the time, and fiddling changing barrels all the time. I used to take 8-10 25ltr barrels 4 in the rear footwells two in front passenger footwell and 4 behind back seats, pumped the tired to 30psi before, and that was fine, i tried to get over the barrel problem with a 250ltr flat in the back, but the car looked like it was doing a wheely when full so i didnt bother doing that, spread around with barrels is ok, though most cars are ok for 6-10 barrels. Looking at a nice big van down the road with twin tires on back axle, though currently using a two ton trailer with 500ltrs.
