Title: Disable van immobiliser

Does anybody know how to disable the immobiliser on a Renault master van ? Mine has gone kerput and I need to bypass it.

i had to do this a few years ago on a golf i had, first i found where the immobiliser was then trace every wire out of it to disconnect i had about 15 wires to take out i ended up with the dash of some were under the bonnet was not an easy job, dont no if there is an easy way

now no why they charge so much to fit them

Paul both my keys broke on my Renault, dealer had to send to France for new.

Renault said impossible to disable immobilizer so van was out for 2 weeks >:(

I am sure however there must be away

There are companies out their that can get the 4 digit code from the ECU then disable. Had the same problem with a Renault Traffic a few years ago. upto 2003 is easier to do.

Try key shops that do car keys/fobs or the internet.

Renault are a bunch of lying French Pigs when it comes to their keys.

Thanks guys got an auto mech out last night, he arrived at 10.45pm :o took 30 minutes with a computer and £90 lighter in pocket  :( but at least its going again. It was a bad earth which he fixed that caused the ecu to lose its memory.
