just had my first system installed in my van after cleaning trad for 6 years.
what i need to no is how do i check the water. I have a Brodex machine and they didnt tell me :-[ .I simply thought that you would put the meter in the tank ,but this comes out at the same reading as out of the tap about 170 so therefore must be purified on the way out. sorry if this is obvious but you didn't have this trouble with a bucket. :)
On another note did an apartment block today and went back to check the results and im amazed :o never believed it would come out as clean, but did however used some serious water.

do you have an ro unit ?
any chance of a pic of the system maybe able to help you then.
I really hope it is not a di only system as resin will cost you a small fortune.

its a brodex 250 di. I was told by them that i didn't need a ro system as live in a soft- medium water area and as i will not be using it all the time wouldn't benefit. only been used once so would hope resin doesn't need changing now. i will try and get a picture.

170 tds I would not use resin only system, but if you are only using say 100L every now and again then I see there point to them its a sale

i think you would benefit buying an ro.gonna use quite a bit of resin with your tds

checked my water out of tap again and it is 135 on meter will i use a lot of resin with this still dont no how to check in tank will ring up tomorrow if no one knows cheers lenny

i have another question if anyone can help i have a prolong 30 ft pole and man is it heavy should i change it for another smaller pole as have been told by a mate that 25ft is enough my maximum height is 3 story or should i keep it and buy a 18ft pole as well just in case. thanks in advance.

Depending on what resin you are using you will get 5000 - 9000l from 25l of resin, not much so as windowwasher says get an r/o. I'm surprised they advised a di.

thanks for advice the system is adaptable so i will see if i am using to much in the next month or so and if so change. I am still aiming to do a lot of my work traditional as have a lot of estates where i don't see it being benefical but hope to use it as much as possible as it is a lot of money not to use.

Buy yourself an 18 ft. I use an 18-21ft fof 90 % of my work but occasionally the big HEAVY has to come out for certain jobs, wouldnt be without it. (and my shoulders are much bigger now ;D)
