Title: Blitz v Traffic clean

Guys

for those of you who have used both can I have your feedback on these two products as a prespray on heavly soiled carpet tiles.

Doing 250m2 tomorrow and have used TC on same job with limited results. Can I expect much more from Blitz?

i like using blitz normally on trashed eot cleans....always works a treat.......and is very economical. would prefer to have blitz than traffic lane.....as blitz needs very little dwell time... :)

sounds good to me........but take care with the blitz. .. i think that has ph 12.5.... :o........

Its at one of these softplay venues. Low prifile Nylon Carpet so should be ok.

Pete I would bonnet this type of carpet. Blitz is good but may find because of high ph you may get wick back fast unless you prevac an vac and vac some more first.

Pete,
have used blitz on carpet tiles loads of times, it will definately out perform trafficlean. Rinse with fibre & fabric rinse, then if you have one bonnet mop it afterwoulds. Should have no problems.

F & F does'nt have the secondary punch that ext pro has and I need it because the kids eat their burgers etc. on this carpet so tis very greasy, much like a recently lotioned straker spam ;D

have you tried powerburst as a prespray i have used it in this type of environment and its loads better than trafficclean cant comment on the blitz never used it.

I think Poweburst has the edge over Blitz great prespray.

Firstly,  as this area will be used by children that will be eating their food i would NOT use LM system.  LM systems only realistically clean just the surface.  You will need to DEEP CLEAN this carpet.  If using HM Blitz i cannot see you having any problems.  You will get very good results and i dont think that because it high ph you will have wick back problems providing you rinse well.

Personally if i was taking this job on then i would use PC Power Burst (in my opinion works slightly better than HM Blitz)

Apply pre-spray & allow 5-10 mins dwell. (agitate if required)
Rinse extract with plain HOT water.
Re-apply the pre-spray. (agitate if required)
Rinse extract with Soft Rinse (acid rinse) & PC Clensan.

I am confident that the PC Power Burst would have done the job with one application however, i would advise the second application purely because it is a childrens area that will be used as a plate.  Never can be to safe when children are concerned.

You cannot mix acidic rinse and clensan, if you want to sanitize and clean in one operation you can mix clensan with crystal green in your solution tank.

Richie is correct. You can use Prochem's Fibre and Fabric Rinse with Clensan.

Read the Directions for use in the following link.  You will find that you can use either Crystal Green or Fibre & Fabric Rinse (acid rinse).

Sorry about that, i was always under the impression that it was only able to be mixed with crystal green.
