Title: Abseiling Help
Post by: john morris on April 12, 2008, 09:54:20 pm
Hi,

looking for some advice please.

Ive been running my own business over 18years, operating traditional window cleaning, waterfed poles, cherry pickers etc.

However, never done abseiling but am thinking about it.

To advertise for this kind of work, what would i need to do ?

I have no intention of doing it myself, but wondered could i get lads in who are qualified to irata level, to carry out the work.

I have public & employers liability insurance, but does this increase insurance premiums, and if so how much would this cost ?

Thanks & all advice is welcome.  :)

make sure you get a ' little black book' with quite a few numbers in it before you take on the work.
Expect to pay £250 p/day + to a subby. you may have to up your insurance as back up to theirs. but make sure they got it.
