My flowrate seems to be dropping over the past week. Any ideas? I reckon it could be the batt. Also I've had the flojet pump now for 3 years though so I was wondering if it could be this. How do these pumps go? All of a sudden or gradually.
Also I had to repair my Microbore but I dont this would affect it.

TDW- Hi I had a problem with poor flow last year, put up with it for about 8 months until I thought sod it I will change the 100PSi pump.
Startling results the power was great and enought to power 2 poles as I was only running one.
Other problem could be your battery is draining down and needs charging.
Do you use a split relay to van battery as this will constantly charge it.
Thanks Robbie

Do you pump through any DI vessels?

Yes I pump through a Di vessel.
Robbie
I dont use a split relay. I charge the battery every night. If I knew it was the pump I would change but not sure.
Thanks

Split charge it,i`ve never had any problems.

is your particle filter on the pump clear, a build up of dirt slows the pump down

If you have pump before DI i.e - push water through it, try reversing this & let the pump pull water through it. keep the vessel direction the same (in/out has to be kept the same wether pushing or pulling). I find this puts far less stress on the pump & better for keeping air locks out. i had similar a while back, for some reason kept getting air lock in 1 of my DI's & resulting in no flow.

Will try the pre-filter but cant really change round the DI because of the way the system has been fitted. That's whats good about DIY systems. You can tinker with them alot more.

How old is your battery?

1 year

If it is the only battery you use worth trying another first as could be worn. You will need to replace battery periodically so it would not be wasting money to buy another one even if your current proves fine.

Never thought of that. It wouldn't be a waste if I brought one anyway.
If I tried the the battery and the pre filters and it didn't make a difference then probably it would be the pump i suppose.
Cheers for the ideas.
