Some leaded windows about 20 years old, not stick-on, have whiteish-greyish lines like funny deposits on them, any idea what it is? Is it the lead or some glue the maker might have used to put the glass in place? It wont rub off its almost like its in the glass! :(

I've seen this too, i think it's some kind of deposit from the lead. I've got a conservatory roof thats streaked all over from a lead flat roof above. Mdr might shift it but it would be a long job by hand.

Ive got some stuff in the garage that I use to get rid of that, I'll go have a look in a minute I cant remember the name of it off the top of my head.

Its called Winsol Crystal Clear 550

and you barely use any so that bottle will last for years.

I have a few customers with steaks from the lead.
I don't try and get rid of it i just clean the windows normally.
