Nice looking site, phone number on every page. Good stuff.

However you appear to have no Meta Tags. Keywords and Description.

Keywords are not so important for google now days but still well worth having also for other search engines.

Desription meta tag is the desription you see when you come up on the search engines.

Well worth sorting these two things out to make it search engine friendly. Otherwise you will loss any rankings you currently have or wil never have.

Thats looking good mate.

What I would say is when you click on the leather cleaning pages, the title tag should read something like "leather cleaning in lancashire" and also when you click on the carpet cleaning link, something like "carpet cleaning in lancashire" will rank much better in search engines like google and will match users searches.

Mitch.

Hello Jeff,

V nice site, but as Mark said, no link page, so this means no rankings.

PS a links page should never be called "links.(extension)", a much better name is : resources, related websites, useful spam....etc.  Never name or have the anchor text for it "links".

Thanks for the comments, about the link page the person who built the site thinks that links don't get you a better position on the serch engines like they used to do ???.He says their other ways to get up the listings, just have to wait and see.I will change some of the text (key words) as someone as suggested.
                                   cheers

My 2ps worth would be to aim it slightly more at your customers ie talk about them and thir homes/properties, not just what you are about

Jeff a web guy told me the same but its not in their interest to tell you rankings are as easy as links  :-\

Mark Roberts the CC web guru seems to think links are the way to go.

Jeff,

Try and find our websites in East Sussex via Google, I would have a word with your web man, it could be that he knows creating good links can be time consuming.

As a 'custy type' person rather than an expert I love the gallery pages as I can see exactly what a difference you can make to my carpets and upholstery.  However as someone else said I don't need to see your machine as it looks quite big and I may worry that its very noisy.

Just my two penneth  :)

http://www.dfwcarpetcleaning.com/

this is a nice site, the owner sells a web marketing packing so I think he's done his homework on what people want to see.

Shaun

PS just look at the list of add ons, is this the norm in the US?
