Title: What is resin?
Post by: frames to panes on April 06, 2008, 10:40:27 am
Can someone with a bit of knowledge tell me exactly what resin is? What is it made from and how does it work? I know it di-ionises the water and purifies it but how exactly?

It is positive and negatively charged beads, which works by atracting the dissolved solids in the water.

All particles are either pos or neg charged , so the pos beads attract the positive particles and the neg attract the neg particles,

The dirt sort of sticks to the resin beads
