WARNING !!!
A report to be published tomorrow is to alert the public to the dangers of water, milk and filter coffee makers - all these can kill your children :o
Yes, these hidden dangers lurk in our homes, are even permitted in our hospitals and five-star hotels and who knows what misery they can bring..............................
Newspapers will sensationalise anything.
True a baby left unattended in a bath of milk or water is in danger, a simple coffee maker can kill if mis-wired or dropped out of a 747 flying at 10,000 feet.
It is equally true that some carpet cleaning chemicals can adversly effect the health of some people but by the time the tabloids have picked out the sensational from any report the readers are often left with entirely the wrong impression.
-
They must have it backwards, dirty carpet is bad for you and can contribute to indoor air pollution, this can cause a health problems.
-
I also saw that report, think there were referring to the DIY approach.

The report referred to above is for household cleaning products.
Yesterday though, I heard a contradictory quotation on Radio 2 from a representative of the retail cleaning chemical producers who stated that he felt that the report was too narrowly focused, and there are many other factors that need to be considered re. Childhood Asthma. To support his statement, he quoted the case of Italy. They use far more of these cleaning products than the Brits, but their incidence of childhood Asthma is much lower.
Who do ypou believe???
Safe and happy cleaning :)

Hi Guys,
The important point to remember is to always use the minimum amount of chemicals.
Cheers,

Or use only the Products from St Nick ::) :o ::)
Merry Christmas and may the Lord Bless you.

Hi
Or maybe use a system with no chemicals at all...

Martin,
You can only mean dry vaccum - on its' own, insuficient.
-
I remember years ago when I sold double glazing they said this was responsible for childhood illnessess like asthema ::)
the report said that double glazing ( & the lack of coal fires) made the home almost airtight. This causes a lack of fresh air in the home, concentrating all the pollutents.

Hi
I thought dry vacuuming was only part of a system not A system?

Martin,
You are correct, but how can you conplete the system without the use of chemicals?
White magic ???
-
John
Did not know white magic existed, only knew of the black type! ::)
Until I gave it more thought, before anything occurs on the physical plane, it must first be created as a thought. (after brain washing) Only then can you Master Psychic turn your dream into reality! But then again I live in the real world! ;D

hi
Len
You are actually spot on with your thoughts.
Every action starts with a thought, every product (even the chair you are sitting on) started with a dream. No action can be completed without the thought.
Everything is possible you just have to believe.

From Grenada ( Spain)
Brrrrr.....
-
Martin,
As much as I agree with your latest post, you have not sugested how you van do the impossible and clean carpets withou chemicals, which was the implied question.

Saw this quote in a picture in an office
"What the mind can Concieve and Believe the body can Achieve"
It was about two years ago and has always stuck in my head.
Quite catchy I thought
Happy New Year

Perhaps a little (well, maybe a lot) of R&D into Sonic Cleaning would give us chemical free cleaning. For the sake of discussion, I presume that water, in whatever state or temperature, is regarded as a chemical.
For really trashed carpets, we could always have Pyro Cleaning :o
Safe and happy cleaning :)
Ken
-
Ken,
I presume that you refer to an extended burn test ;) ;D
-
John
Problem here Ken will need say Thames, Anglian, Wessex or one of the other utilities companies to put it out = a chemical
Have to admit very intrigued in the system Martin uses think he may be sworn to silence! A great ploy if the seller of the system can sell it! Or it can be an embarrassment to Martin spending what ever and trying to justify it in his mind! ;D ;D
