Hi all

I don't know if this has been posted before but I was just going through some carpet cleaning vids on youtube (trying to learn a bit more!) and I came across this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LfJUJiUFN3Y

One woman says she cleans her own carpet every six months but the expert says its not good enough and she needs hot water extraction. 

Its enough to make people rush out and hire you guys  :)

This has been doing the rounds for a while now, but was a very good PR stunt for carpet cleaners.

The down side was that the guy cleaning the carpets was using a machine that many of us "serious" carpet cleaner would class as a toy.  Therefore, many will still believe that they can get good results from the machines that they can hire at the local supermarkets. >:(  It is just a shame that they did not use a truckmount or high end portable, that water would have been black.

Yes I thought it probably was a vid that many of you have seen before.

These things are so powerful, better than any advert.  I remember many moons ago as a twenty year old new mother, we had a surprise visit from a Kirby salesman who did the mattress cleaning display and shook his head implying we were bad parents if we didn't get the Kirby.

We took on a £1000 loan to make sure our baby had a clean house.... even though we could only just about afford her nappies!  :o
