I drove all the way to croydon today to look at a Transporter 174 and was told by the salesman it was imaculate and had 1 small dent on the rear door, when i got there i couldn`t beleive it when i looked round it it had 10 egg sized dents on it and was gutted. It`s by far the best van i`ve ever driven and am now totally smitten by them, after driven it i don`t want any other van it`s quicker than a golf GTI lol. ;D ;D ;D

Have you had a look on ebay? sometimes you can find good prices on there around 5k maybe 3/4 years old low miles. 37k for a diesel is nothing

90% of vans in auto trader come from the auctions, I went to so many and then saw them in auto trader.

Get yourself to Reg Vardi or Ford and ask if they have any vans going into auctions, they will do you a deal but always check what it is worth then take 30% off. That is what they will get at the auction

I just bought a transporter and agree! it's the best van I have ever driven and is perfect for my needs. True VW quality usually expensive but, well worth the money. I bought mine through a trader and had to pay vat.  That was the only bad side. NWH trust me get one you wont regret it!
