Title: Replacement squeegee rubbers and solution
Post by: Glen on April 03, 2008, 08:54:32 pm
Has anyone tried the following squeegee rubber?

I am using a 'dog earred'  Ettore channel and I fund that Pulex rubber leaves streaks and it appears that the dog earring causes this  - has anyone else had similar problems?

Also can anyone recommend the best cleaning solution for soft water? At present I'm using GG3 and a dash of Ecover soap but it seems to leave a 'trail' when starting at the side or top of the window.

Have a look at the window cleaning warehouse

thats were i get my rubbers from. i buy ettore rubbers i find them the best other rubbers like UNGER ones i find you have to press abit harder when you shouldnt but it doesnt do a good job.

At the end of the day how i see it is.. its part of the most inportant part of cleaning the window dodgy rubbers will leave dodgy results so dont skimp on rubbers! get some good ones.

I dont dog ear my squeegee

I used to use unger soft but as i say didnt really think they were any good untill i tried the ettore ones.

i could do with ordering some rubbers so i will buy some unger and ettore and compare both to my liking.

Paul what unger's do you use?
