Title: will washdown pump work for wfp system?

... just wondered if anyone knows difference between water pump & washdown pump, flojet do both & need to replace my 60psi water pump as is has died! think it may be the pressure switch as i understand that if you use a control valve to control the flow of water to the pole(as i do) then this puts pressure on the switch & can wear out quickly? have seen a washdown pump on sale, wondered if that would be ok?....alos any advice re avoiding this wear in future or how to repair??...any good pump suppliers?

i think a wash down pump could be too many ltrs per minute
