I've been asked to do the windows on a care home, now the frames are dull i think and theyve got the black water marks, how do i go about getting them off?
Thanks
-
hi joe, I use traffic film remover (if you're wfp) but you have to rinse really well or you'll get white spotting
good luck!
-
how do you apply it, by scrubbing ?
-
sorry i meant by getting up there and scrubbing?
-
Dilute some in a spray bottle and apply it to your brush every couple of window`s.
-
do you reckon that will work?
-
To be honest i wouldn`t use TFR i was only telling you how i apply it when doing con roofs, for window`s i would dilute the same way with GG3 and spray that on your brush as sometimes TFR can leave streaks that are hard to shift.
-
and will that clean the marks of as best as can?
thanks for the information
-
yes, either do that or make some up in a rectangular bucket and lower your brush into it. it can leave streaks, usually if it's hot & sunny
-
I would try the GG3 first and if it dosen`t shift it then try TFR,just don`t leave the TFR on the glass for to long.
-
right thanks, when ive sprayed it on, surely after ive scrubbed the frames on the window and rinse it, it should be fine? is it ok using the same brush?
-
Same brush, what would be the point in changing it as it would soon become contaminated with the TFR or GG3 that`s on the glass, you should only need to do this on the first clean.

yeh it is the first clean and im giving them two quotes, one just a normal clean and another to get rid of the black water marks.
