I love a good laugh,
and thats what i would be doing at them.
No home address and landline, no chance!
-
I can't believe you even considered it
-
Have you done the job(s) for them already?
-
yes i have .

::) ??? :o
I would wirte that of then, beause you won't be getting anything!!

You may be surprised and they are genuine but its a lesson learnt. You need to have the quote and invoice paperwork in order then you can write it off against tax. Use the address of the property cleaned, and for the small fee I'd start small claims against the "owner of that address. Lets hope everyone here is surprised !!

You need to go back to the property and knock on the door, find out from the tenants the address of the owner and invoice them.

went round to property and saw workmen , said the owner was coming down today, left acpy of the bill, and note saying to ring me. 9 oclock that night he rings me and says cheq is in the post., will wait and see £80 owing.

We'll the fact that he has contacted you is something I suppose. With any luck you will get your money.
Have left yourself wide open though, not all people are trusting. The amount of times that I have turned up to a carpet cleaning job and the custy has given an excuse why they do not have the money is beyond a job. :'(

It could work out ok and you get your money, back but i wouldnt take the risk next time and it could be a bigger wedge.......
