just a bit of advice please. my rain water tank reads 51tds and iam sure if i gave it a good clean it would be lower.!!
if i can get it to 25tds say,, could i just pump this though my di and use it???

Spoke to a guy at windex yesterday who said rainwater is around 004tds? I have never tested it myself though!

i think if i cleaned the water butt the tds would be a lot lower.
just need to work out how to pump it into the di

If you only catch rain in heavy downpours it is possible to catch it at 000 ppm. Its too much hassle for me personally,.. so I catch it however it falls, and it seems to average between 020 and 030 ppm.
I've got the rainwater tank up high, and it just gravity feeds through the DI (Slowly!) into another tank.
