After moving to One step from Solutions m/s im thinking of trying Prochem pureclean as i need to get some soon.
How does it compare and what is its shelf life once mixed ?
-
Jury is out with me at mo between Nemesis Super and pureclean. Have only just gone to pureclean so have not done enough carpets to make an informed assessment.
There you go Paul, you have got some mates ;D
-
hi i got some samples of pure clean at last years ccdo ive had great results using it . i now use it on nearly every job . i have tried m power and nemesis but the results were very poor del
-
OI Del, you coming to CCDO or what? :D
-
I swear by Microsplit. Economical, safe on wool adaptable by dilution rates.
Now, can't get on with Nemesis Super at all. Done a few carpets (wool) and made me work very hard to get results. Tried down to 1:100 and still no joy.
And yes I did put plenty down.

craftex m/s
as good as any, considering they are the same barring the name,
or do some of you actualy notice a differnce ?
have any of you actualy cleaned the same carpet with two different m/s and noticed a differnce .
if so please take a pic and show me :)

MP normally good enough alone but recently boosted with Pureclean rinse and VERY HAPPY ;D

Hi Guys
Prochem Pureclean, One Step, Sol No.1 etc are sodium tripolyphosphate, Nemesis and M Power are colloids which are similar to detergents .
I like Prochem Pureclean, it's easy to use and gives good results.
Cheers

One -Step, Solutions and Pure clean in the tank, really good results. :)

Plus Pureclean is easier to lug around in powder form :o

Now I find it the other way around
Im OK with Nemesis Super and M-Power, but Pure Clean....... not sure about, have to work harder to get result.
Now use it as Chris Straker has described - as a final boost on rinse.
Just got some Solutions Heavy Duty but not tried it so cannot comment

What do you agitate with?

spencer ,
you actualy put in tank!!!
please tell me more ,
do you not pre spay then?
I thought the key to using m/s was the aggitation, so cant quite work out what you are doing ::)
assuming you are simply wanding

Colloids strangely don't work better if you make the solution stronger. The water is an integral part of how they work.

Small rooms - carpet brush - good for the circulation.
Larger areas Envirodri

Geoff I think Spencer presprayes with his chosen 'solution' and uses MS as an additive in the rinse.

Like alot of things John :)
they read a receipe and think oh just put a bit more chillie sauce in :D
then wish they hadnt.
now isnt that why they put the details on the label? so you can get the best from whatever product you are using
personaly , never had a problem with nemesis, use all the time on carpets , suites I do go back to craftex M/s

Shaun it didnt seam to read like that :-\
to be honest cant really see the benifit of putting m/s in tank , but there you go learn some thing every day.

Both microsplitters and colloidal cleaners can be used effectively in the solution tank of a portable or even through a truckmount. Pure clean has dilution instructions for truckmount use. Still preferable to pre-spray first though.
-
I guess it depends on person to person who's to say he, you or I are right?
Stopped having those conversations because there is no answer/winner.

Knowing Spencer, i read it as MS prespray and Pureclean rinse ::)
Not as exotic as he thinks he looks ;D
-
Hi Guys
I put Pureclean in the tank and prespray with either Pureclean or others depending on carpet.
For example , dirty PP, dilute Ultrapac prespray, dilute Pureclean in tank.
It works and it's simple.

Bit like myself ................ the rinse not the "works and simple" bit. ;D
-
How stupid of me geoff, when it says 1:12 for oily spots (like it says on the instructions), thinking that increased concentration might make it work a bit better. ::)

Geoff I'm with you on this one.
I've tried most if not all m/splitters and find microsplit from craftex the best all-rounder. Great price and product.
-
mainly use M Power, number 9 if carpets are trashed man made or solutions number 2, I diddn't get much joy with the craftex Ms but its all very much down to personal oppinion
-
Chris you keep mixing up your words, erotic not exotic, I use Pure Clean as the Prochem boys explained at CCDO last year, v good results.
