Title: Shurflo Pumps died

packed up only had it 5 months`1.8gpm 100PSI Model pumps working but no water is coming out undone all hoses for airlocks but nothing?

Anyone had these problems

yeah..at the pump where water comes out put a little bit of of hose on it and put the pump on then suck it throw it should work after that mines did....

thanks tried that avenue got a feeling its the pressure switch as waters trickling out.

ok mate sorry i could not help :)

Take the 5 screws out the body of the pump, and when separated you will see the rubber type valves, there is 3 of them and one will be unseated, put it back in position and it should be OK.  If it happens again get a valve kit, and replace.  Its not your pressure switch.

No problem, glad you got it fixed.  Remember though if it happens again you are better getting the new valve kit for it, will save a lot of time messing around.  You may want to check to see if you have anything floating about in your tank, as it is usually something that gets into the pump that causes the valve to unseat.

happy ending.... :D

i only got my new 100psi today and varistream... fitted it and raring to go tomorrow.....(aint it good to get new toys)  ;).... but i also got an inline strainer... i dont know why, but i have read so many posts saying , pump and strainer...

so Peter, i hope that may stop any debris from the tank.?  ???
