Title: Making own brushes

Ive been looking on ebay and other sites and seen vikan brushes but without jets in i was just wondering if people buy these and make there own, if so what needs to be done.

vikans are a doddle  ;D you just need some jets and the right size drill bit,best thing about vikans is the "give" in the plastic so you can use a drill bit that is a fraction small and then gently tap the jets in,its nice stuff to drill as well ,bentleys and other diy brushes are more of a pain (harder,brittle plastic and usually less depth of material to mount jets in)and sometimes the savings are minimal,but jetting a vikan yourself is very easy ;D

where do you get vikans as standard brushes LJ ?

off top of my head i think its about a fiver on most of em after you have bought jets.....however some blokes make their own jets too so.....

standard vikan oval is 11.50 or 19.50 ex vat ;)then add jets and delivery
its better if you have several sets of jets already ;D

we sell the full range of vikan brushes jetted or unjetted
its easy to jet them yourself, just use a 6mm bit for your standard 2mm brass jets

i made a guide to making brushes a while ago, it works well and it quick and easy to change brushes when its worn out

its also easy to change the jets for the range they sell at cleantech, which are fro low watrer use and norm water use
