Title: pump psi/lpm ??
Post by: clean on March 22, 2008, 04:13:54 pm
Ok here`s the thing,i currently use a 60psi Flojet 240v pump to pump my stored ro water thorugh my resin to fill my van tank but it`s only rated at 6.0 lpm,
so iv`e seen another pump it`s rated at 17 lpm but only 40 psi,
my question is will this be a better pump for filling even though the psi is lower?
thanks in advance for any replies  ;) Mr clean

If it's just for pumping through resin, it will be fine.

Yes it will because the flow rate is higher.  The pressure switch setting will not really come into play as pumping water through resin bead will not put too much of a strain on it.
