Evening all,
I've got a 18 foot grey fibreglass pole which I got with a package from pure freedom and was wondering if anyone would know if you can add sections to the pole, I'm not sure what make or name of the pole is but will try to take a photo tomorrow.

The answer is Yes. Do the clamps look like this:

If so, it is an X-Tel pole.
Or do they look like this:

If so, they are Universal poles.
We supply sections for both of these, as do many other suppliers.

thanks windowwashers and Alex.
Alex, It's a universal pole and I've had a quick look on your site and are these sections complete with the clamps or would I have buy anything extra, also is as simple as taking the base cap off and sliding the new section on.
Many thanks
Gordon

The sections are just the sections only. You need to buy the appropriate size clamp, end cap and a pair of pole guides. It would have to be fitted to the base of your current outside base section.
The best way to understand how they are constructed is to undo the clamp on your current pole and pull off the section and have a look inside. Sometimes it's better value just to buy a completely bigger pole especially as the X-Tel range are much lighter than the Universal range.

Can you add sections to the Hybird pole?
-
Yes you can add sections to the hybrid poles. We do not have the prices for these up on the website, but if you give us a ring then we can give them to you.

Thanks for the info Alex.
