Title: Links, Google, Not filling in Your profile
Post by: PaulKing on March 19, 2008, 08:46:37 am: I am always amazed that people don't fill-out their profile with thier company name and website email ect ,

As every post you make can generate a link to your web-site, as well as making you look a lots more upstanding as well, I don't think they count for a whole lot but seeing the efforts that some go to to get placed on the "thinterweb" even so far posting on here and they seem to be missing a trick?

These forum are scanned by search engines and regularly appear in search result so at the very least you'll get something back from it, plus it would be nice to know whoes who?

I think it is the very least that people can do to show themselves as serious professional people, plus it adds an extra something knowing who you are talking to and makes it that much more personal.
Quite why people on this board seem to want to remain anonymous by hiding their name is beyond me, but I rarely take them seriously as a consequence.
