Hii, was wondering if someone can give me some advice on a spitfire truckmount.
When the water heats up it dose not seem to dump the hot water back into the waste tank. What could be causing it and can i rectify the problem myself as im really busy and cant afford to get down to oxford for a couple of weeks.
Thank you in advance for any help.

Luc,
Sorry but what is a 'hofooler'?
If your not sure what to do, go up to Altec near Royston, (ring first) they have a brilliant set up there and are more than willing to help you out with a Spitfire.
They service all types of TM's there and are more than willing to help.

Check the orophises on the front (filters) for lime scale when you take them out or unscrew them start the engine and water should spray from 1 and flood from the other.
Could be your diverter valve but uually these get stuck open and you dump loads.
You could always switch your diverter valve off and ave warm water until it gets fixed (the water will get hot but it takes longer)

Shaun,
The Spitfires dont have a diverter valve do they? mine didnt. It may well be the solinoid valve on the waste tank that is sticking, failing that it may be the thermostat is malfunctioning. Do you have a manual for the Spitfire? Which Spitfire do you have? I have spare manuals for the 3.2 & the 4.0 if your interested in buying one. Bith are in good condition. In fact the 4.0 is like brand new.
Richie.
