i'v lost 2 days.... i work in most bad  weather..... otherwise window cleaning would be a rubbish job to have...

plus i wouldn't be able to be regular on my ruond....

after reading a lot on this and other forums i'v noticed there is no shape on some wc when it comes to working in bad weather.

that is saying to me he is lazy(or should I say wrong mind set), he sees a little rain and stops in when he sees it when there is no reason at all, cant knock the guy I did the same for a few years when I first started till I looked at what I was losing, I dont have that problem anymore but some days it is hard work fighting my mind to go out I have to admit that.

Lost about 2 weeks total, but almost caught up (3 days behind)

Got a slow one next week, so should be able to catch up / canvass some more work

Serious wind, ice, and sideways rain is all that stops me so i clean 99% of the time. Hate working in crap weather but it comes with the job.

when the odd customer questions me about cleaning there windows in the rain i just ask them ( light heartedly of course) 'if you can stop my kids eating and my wife spending my money when it rains i'll stop cleaning your windows'

it,s easier working in bad weather with wfp... i used to find it hard as i convinced myself custies would turn me away...but with climate change over the past few years the custies seem to know that you have no choice other than to work in the rain as it can rain for weeks without letup >:(

When I arrived at one client today he said, "Since I saw you last we've had an earthquake then almost hurricanes!  Which one are you - Pestilence?"  I said, "No, the Grim Reaper, that'll be £50 please" ;D

He laughed and paid!

good tip:  Try to make them smile when they're handing over the payment!
