Title: Rust marks around buttons - Advice needed
Post by: Richard Edwards on December 14, 2004, 03:08:32 pm
Hello everyone

I have to clean a light coloured suite, with buttons and I am concerned about preventing rust marks.

Does anyone have any tips ?

Cheers  :)

Hi Richard

Use your foil carpet protector pads and a pair of scissors.

snip into as many foil pads as you need to just over half way and slip between the button and the sofa.

Tell you customer to pull them out the next day.

If you use LM and fans to clean you should not have any problems as it will dry so fast but your right to take precautions.

Hi Woodman

Thanks for taking time to reply. I will use foil pads as indicated, better being safe than sorry.

Cheers  :)
