Title: DIY WFP
Post by: Highrise on March 10, 2008, 03:36:00 pm
After last weeks acciDENT with my main wfp van, Over the weekend I set about doing my own DIY WFP to fit into the Astra van....

I had to strip the main van down, Pre filters, Salt and RO and connect it all up to the IBC tank in the garage....

Set about connecting the pump and control switch in the van, Putting in the tank and connecting to the DI resin and pump, Battery connected and hey presto.... Up and running.

All in all my DIY WFP system inc waterproof paint, Straps, Clips etc etc etc has cost me less then £600.

I am more then happy  ;D

Looking forward to working tomorrow ( if it's not raining )

Via corgo straps, One across behind the back of the seats and then two straps over the top of the tank ( it is temp untill I can get it done next week ) then it will be bolt down via the chassie
