If it comes to it Betterclean I suppose it would work.

It doesnt look too professional but its only for the 2nd floor landing of the house.

Anymore?

Si it will take about 15 mins work, but if you can find an old tube of mastic or similar(  they all have the same size tube)) and empty it, then cut it down to size, you will find it fits with a bit of tape around it  ;)

If it's just to get you through......a bit of Duct tape will work in a jif, just have to keep them sealed for a day, duct tape is durable and sticky enough.

Duct tape, super glue and little pot of white emulsion are esentials to carry on the van. Little pot of paint for those corners when you pull your hose and the paint flies off, we've all done.

i agree, duct tape has got me out of many a hole, i lost the connector from wand to vac hose once, wrapped plenty of duct tape around it and it worked well all day, if you have an air leak anywhere seal it with tape as well.

This is what I do, the plastic downpipe from cistern to loo pan, very cheap to buy, just cut off the length you want... plus spares it's a perfect fit. I'm always losing mine out of the hole in my vac bag. ::) another tip ;) When you clean stairs in a maisonette and you want to bring your porty down your clean stairs slip some blue shoe covers over the wheels (fits a ninja).

Happy cleaning

Paul

Would it not be easier to keep the machine at the bottom of the stairs (or outside) when cleaning the stairs?   :-\

Agree most of the time but if you have to do all the carpets upstairs its a pain running up and down the stairs to empty/ fill, flat / maisonette we're talking about. just my view.
