The thing that made me think is that the passat was just driving along and seconds later is hit by a car overtaking!

You can be as careful on the roads as possible... But sometimes - like this sad incident - it's others you need to watch out for!

So the window cleaner was in the car being driven by a convicted drink driver that overtook a car & smashed head on into the car with grandparents & grandchildren in?

Its just said on the radio he was a known boy racer with a string of convictions including one for an identical accident on the same stretch of road !!

The other car was a Passat which is a good car in an accident ( if you understand what I mean) so assuming that seat belts were being worn it must have been one hell of a crash.

You can drive as careful as you want, but if there's some idiot with a death wish coming towards you what can you do.

From what I have heard and read, if the driver had survived he would now be facing a charge of death by dangerous driving.

My thoughts go to the innocents who have died due to this and their familes who now have to suffer the losses.
