Title: Swordfish Urine
Post by: dan roberts on March 08, 2008, 10:03:58 pm
Sorry about the title, I just thought it may provoke a few more viewings and suggestions than a lesser eye catching title.
The question is this though, when leafleting and getting your name about, what percentage of your advertising time and costs do you spend most on? Domestic or commercial? I'm assuming the domestic market is better in the short term, but commercial contracts are always something you can rely on.
Do commercial premises reply/react to leaflet campaigns at all? Or is cold calling in person the only way in?

Any suggestions gratefully recieved

Dan

Dan
To remove swordfish urine I dilute 100ml of tuna bisulphate to 200ml of haddock peroxide.

Hope this helps  :)

Hi paul,

Tried most aquatic based chemicals, such as Fibre Fish Rinse and Mullet Microsplit but the ammonia content in Swordfish pi*s seems quite high to me.

Thanks for the suggestion though.

Dan  ;)

Don't know about SWORDFISH URINE but what about all the SEAWEED?

There must be OCEANS of the stuff and whilst I can't say I have a WHALE of a time removing it, it does give me a good workout and by the time I'm FINished my MUSCLES ache afterwards and the SOLE of my feet are tired.

However I'm (S)QUIDs in and usually FISHING for more work or ANGLING for a different HAKE. Now I know you will want to put me in my PLAICE and call me a right PRAWN.

Anchors away!

I always concentrate on domestic. Commercial is a bonus.

I've always found however that most of my commercial work comes from doing the homes of directors etc who then invite me in to do their commercial premises. Usually they are more interested in the quality of the work and are far less price conscious.
