Post by: Karl Wildey on March 06, 2008, 11:28:51 am
Does anyone know if there is a company that can re-fringe rugs?
i have a client with a circular indain rug that needs a re-fringe. Probably not worth it but she likes the rug

Find a carpet shop locally to you that does 'whipping'.

Thats what they do to carpet pieces that are left over and they put that blanket stitch around the sides to utilise them as rugs etc.

Most of them do the fringing as an extra, it comes as a kit that they sew or latex on.
